Spicy Mango Smoothie

Soooo, it's flu season again. Runny noses, tickly throats and all kinds of other not-so-fun symptoms are rampant. It happens every year up here in Canada, and with the temperature swings we've gotten this season, it feels like every single strain is on the loose. 

Truth be told, the common flu lasts about a week and, in my opinion, taking flu meds only suppresses the symptoms it doesn't fix the problem at the source. 

So instead of taking over-the-counter meds, this is what we do here at the house. We also have ginger tea & eat lots of garlic. 


Ingredients

MAKES 2 PORTIONS 

1 C frozen mango cubes
1 C orange juice
1 T fresh ginger, chopped

Directions

5 MINS PREP

Put everything in the blender
Blend until smooth, about 2 minutes
