Dancing Mango Smoothie
A "healthy" smoothie often hides a big nutritional one-two punch because it contains both protein & veg. The beauty of this particular recipe is that it really just tastes like a mango / green apple smoothie. It's also a great way to get more veggies in your diet without having to pile them onto your plate.
makes 2 portions
3-4 leaves of kale
1 lemon, juiced
A small dash of cayenne
1 C water
In a blender, add the mango & half the lemon juice. Pulse until smooth.
Add this to the bottom of two glasses.
Next, roughly tear the kale into chunks and add those to your blender with the remaining lemon, water & cayenne. Pulse until there a no large pieces left.
Pour over the mango for a fancy looking smoothie.
I suggest mixing together before drinking, but that's just me!
