Chia Pudding Smoothie

Now this "smoothie" can be a smoothie or a pudding. It really just depends on how much milk you put in there. I rather like it as a pudding, to be honest, but that requires a spoon. If you're on the go and need something a little more drinkable, then by all means add more almond milk!

Ingredients

Makes 2 portions

1 t vanilla
2 C unsweeted almond milk
6 T chia seeds
2 C frozen berries, thawed & blended

Optional topping

Hemp hearts
Crushed nuts or seeds
Fresh fruit
 

Directions

5 mins prep + 20 mins refrigerate

Grab two mason jars. 
In the first one, add the almond milk, vanilla & 4 T chia. Mix well and place in the fridge. 
In the second jar, place your blended berries & the remaining chia. 
Let them set for at least 20 minutes.
Assemble by layering both mixtures in a glass, sprinkle with toppings & sip away. 
If the mixture is too thick, you can always add more almond milk to top off.

Note: You can also make these the night before and assemble in the morning!
