Blueberry Booster

Ba-ba-baaaa ba-ba-na-na! One of life's simple pleasures. I know, bananas don't grow locally (well for most of us anyways) but they are often inexpensive & they're always packed with tryptophan which gets converted to serotonin in the brain. Hello happiness hormones!

Time to enjoy this happiness boosting smoothie & I hope you have weather as wonderful as we do this week! 


Ingredients

makes 2 servings

1 banana
1 C blueberries
2 Lebanese cucumbers
Water 

Note: You can use frozen berries for this, but they tend to be overly sweet. To fix this you can add a piece of green apple or a bit of lime juice! 

Directions

Add everything to a blender
Buzz until smooth
Enjoy!
